3. Basically, all things being equal (i.e. dry weather), here is a breakdown of the busiest days, in order: Saturday, Wednesday/Monday/Friday/Thursday/Tuesday/Sunday. There are exceptions to this "rule" if it rains. If it rains on one day, the next dry day will see a bump in attendance.
Because more people end vacations on Mondays and start them on Wednesdays?
"...why would sunday be the least busy?"
Because of family "things" other than visiting amusement parks (like church, reunions, etc)?

Best Days To Visit
Cedar Point recommends visiting on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, when attendance is lower. Contrary to popular belief, holidays such as Memorial Day and Labor Day do not result in unusually large crowds. The months with the lowest attendance are May, June and September. *** Edited 7/2/2004 10:10:47 PM UTC by TTD is sinking too!***
Hey, I heard a rumor that Top Thrill Dragster is sinking...
More people come on Wednesday, than on Tuesday. And the least amount of people come on Sunday.
Does there have to be a explanation to everything?

I just returned from my first trip to the point! I got alot of great info from this board - THANKS!
Our first day in the park was Sunday June 27th and crowds were very light - it really made the day great!
Our second day in the park was Tuesday June 29th after a rainy Monday and while it was not mobbed there really was a big jump in the number of people.
So, we found what dorkdork said about the exceptions to be absolutely true! - Even still... Can you have a bad day at Cedar Point? This is one of my new favorite vacation spots - that's for sure!
