Bugs!!!

Hey, if you look at CP's webpage today...it's 9:52am right now...you'll see bugs attacking the beach webcam...AAAAH!

OH NO!!!!! Muffleheads already (or whatever else they maybe called in your locale)? At least it isn't a Mayfly, just one would cover the whole camera....

BTW - if you aren't sure, a Muffleheads is those harmless, biteless Mosquitoe looking bugs that make those clouds that look like smoke in the air in June.

Maybe they need to install wipers on the webcams :)

You called those bugs harmless? Try riding a coaster, especially Magnum in the front seat. You'll end up looking like your car's windshield.

Although Im sure they don't taste that good, you can always enjoy a ride with your mouth open.

I saw that this morning, too...yeay for the bugs that explode on contact.

Who's afraid of the big bad... sea gull?

I hate the ones who live by the water and when you go on the water rides they are always buggin

YESS!! Unbelieveably the bugs are already here, all sorts, they are here, whatever you wonna call them, THEY ARE HERE. We were at Bassetts they other day, and just walking from the car i got a mouth-full. but, what can you do. I don't know why they are gettting so bad. They haven't been that bad, if i remember correctly from a couple years ago.

I seem to recall CP having signs about that explained these were called "muffle heads" and that their appearance is actually a GOOD thing. It means that Lake Erie is in great shape.

Yeah, I think Muffleheads are the more official name for the bugs... So I change that in my original post. I couldn't remember the name at the time. Thank! :)

Don't look now they're back on the Beach Cam http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/inside_park/webcam/beach.cfm Today. I was shocked to see them in August. Last year I went to CP I don't recall seeing them in Aug. I thought these bugs were around only around CoasterMania.
