Bucyrus Rte 98 construction

For any of us Rte 98-4 travelers it would be nice to have a constuction free season just ONCE but not happening this season.
On Rte 98 shortly before you get to the Rte 4 connection there is a detour which takes you way east to Rte 30, then Rte 30 takes you back to 4. This adds around 10 minutes to your drive time. We were going to just go straight to see exactly WHAT was going on and if there was a way around the construction without the long detour but didn't. Sometimes there is a "sneaky, locals only" way around a mess. Anyone have a clue how long this will be going on?
This construction equated to no Hardees for me which pissed me off!!! :(

If it's on OH-98 then the easiest way around is just to take US-23 all the way up to OH-4. It's similar drive time, but adds one mile to the distance from Columbus.

Rt 4 won't help because it isn't construction, it's just the Bratwurst Festival. I went yesterday, ignored the signs and went into town and used side streets. No biggie.
Oh. For the Bratwurst Festival you can do the same thing we all did when the bridge was being built, just cut over one block to go through. Remember, an official detour for a State route can only use designated State/US/Interstate routes, so invariably there is a simpler way in that part of the world...!

The festival will be gone Sunday.
"Bratwurst, Bratwurst My what a treat, people come to eat. Delicious bratwurst, bratwurst. Here's the place to go. . . . . Bucyrus, O-HI-O!!!"

True Cedar Pointers would NEVER drive around the festival....Pass up Brats and Beer? Not a chance:), Ah fond memories of the Brattie Wagon!
