I was experimenting around with the Internet Archive and I stumbled on this little piece of history:
http://web.archive.org/web/19961227171824/http://www.cedarpoint.com/
The very first official Cedar Point website!
Even this little treasure:
http://web.archive.org/web/20040520115024/http://pointbuzz.com/
The oldest PointBuzz in the archive.
Anyone feel like pulling back the Virtual Midway or Guide to the Point?

http://web.archive.org/web/20000816074007/www.guidetothepoint.com/thepoint/
If anyone can pull up anymore Cedar Point related web history, post it!
P.S: You might have to copy and paste the link rather than clicking on it.

I looked at dave's explination of how TTD works and it was great. It would be even better if I understood it. ;)

Walt, I just really wanted to know, if you can get a thumbnail picture to enlarge. I want to look at the Avalanche run photo from the guide to the point site, but the archives don't work for it. Is there a way to add pixels to a photo?
Check out Rollercoaster Data Base, they have the best Avalanche Run pictures I've seen.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
I really like looking at the old web cam images.

It makes me feel old that the words "old" and "webcam" can be used in the same sentence.
Promoter of fog.
^^^The amazing thing about those pictures, look at all the people in line!
Does anybody remember this web cam view from 2001?
