Then again, nothing more crazy than a lot of the posters here. :)

Which was my point. :)

So we just got back and no inspections whatsoever... I brought in a small cooler (soft lunch sack) and some snacks in my diaper bag. We took some of your advice and exited by Ocean Motion to have a quiet lunch on the lake. What a great day!

I don't think I've taken food inside the park, but last year back in May while staying at Sand Castle Suits we would pick drive down the local Subway get the five dollar subs take it back to our hotel and eat and rest. Very relaxing getting away from the park for an hour.

Funny how a small thing like not having to think about getting scalped for food, makes a day at cedarpoint a lot better.

I can count on one hand, how many times I have bought any kind of food in the park the last few years.Just wayyy overpriced and crappy food.

It's kinda sad when it cost's me more for a footlong sub combo at cedarpoint, than it does for a full lunch in france inside of epcot at disney.

As a matter of fact, the only food I have bought inside the park this year, has been panda express, and some chips from the chipery.

The rest of he time, I usaly go to taco bell, Mc donalds, or get a $5 footlong outside the park. Or if I want to splurge, I will go to chet and matts for pizza and beer.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

We splurged on chicken nuggets at Chick Fil A for dinner but I did split them with my son. I can't believe the upcharges on a value meal, crazy! The past 2 times I went to Cedar Point we stopped at McDonald's on Route 2 to get some fries for the road trip home. I think that will become a tradition ;)

I always bought the featured cups like the maverick one this year and just kept bringing them back for 99 cent refills and free water refills. Beyond that I would sometimes do a meal at midway market but usually I would just venture out to 250 and get a meal at whatever place looked good. Beyond that got marcos and brought it back to breakers or sand castle and ate that for dinner.

The rules are: no outside food or drink allowed into the park. Unopened bottles of water are the only thing allowed in. Coolers are not allowed into the park either, unless it's a medical reason or for baby food. The admissions people will usually check the cooler just to be sure. There are two picnic shelters: one to the right of the front gate, and one to the left of the front gate. You can leave your food and coolers over there. Employees at the gates do NOT check bags or personal belongings, and if they did, well they aren't supposed to.

The employees at the gates are pretty leinient(sp?) with these rules though. Usually you can get in with an open bottle of soda, juice, etc. Sometimes you can get in with small snacks if you have young children too.

Disney does a good job of people keeping food out of the park.

You're allowed to bring food into Disney parks, so I doubt they do a good job of keeping food out.
