Anyone ever been to the Breakwater Cafe next to the Sandcastle? If you haven't I recommend it. It's got good food and a great view.
------------- Whats life if you never get to the point?
I'm pretty sure I have. My family and I was the first ones in there in the morning and the food was good. Unfortually, I was really hyped about riding MF I didn't have an appetite.
My only complaint during one of my visits last year was the less-than-stellar service at Breakwater. But, I'll agree, the food and view compensated for it.

A group of us went there last year and were very disappointed. The menu they gave us was mediocre at best. It seemed to be all sandwiches and light fare. The sample menu that the Breakers Concierge had showed us had steaks and other hearty meals on it. We later found out he was showing us last year's menu. It was after 6pm on a Friday Evening in August. There were probably 3 other party's in there and it seemed as if we were invisible. After waiting about 10 minutes after being seated and no one to take our drink orders we got up and left. The service was totally unacceptable. I had been there about 5 or 6 years ago and the place was packed, but this year it was like a ghost town.
The best meal at the Breakwater Cafe is easily the breakfast buffet. It's almost assured that I can be found there Saturday morning before Father's Day every year, bright and early. It's the only time during the stay that I ever bother with breakfast.
I agree.the service is terrible, but the food is good.and it also has a great view of lake Erie.
