Granted Screamscape is not ALWAYS right. Lance has a number of sources that provide him with information. He is pretty careful with the sources that he uses, and tries to get information to back it up when he can. His info is no worse than some of the crap I have seen on here.

Anywho.....think about what the article says.....his source "knows" the exact length, height, speed and drop angle but is "unsure" as to how many inversions.

Nobody is above anyone. I don't believe in swear words. They are just words just like any other. I don't know why people decided that it's not proper to use them. I see it as a stronger way to express yourself.

Donald, I think you missed the point. The point is, even if the ride is as reported, which many doubt, how can you be disappointed? If CP were to announce a ride with stats like wildcat, you'd be let down? Personally, I love the wildcat. I'll reserve judgement until after I ride it for myself, thank you.

I have never been disappointed with an Intamin ride. Regardless of the stats, I'm sure it will complament the other coasters nicely.

The key to this whole thing is who cares. Sorry but to me it looks like another try to guess what it is by looking at the track. While I don't know when the press kits go out and who receives them, it is possible for someone to release info early. Didn't we jus have this happen a week ago with the announcement date? Either way, screamscape if anything just hurt it's relationship with CP if it's all true.

For real 901. Why would they want to undermind CP? I have nothing but respect for the park and their opporating officers. Any time I've had a problem there, they've corrected it with curdusy. The last thing I would want to do is hurt my relationship with them if I was screamscape. They made a big mistake. And if it is true I've lost all respect for them, which wasn't much to begin with.

Sadly the Screamscape details sound real. Considering the 2nd LIM launch that is in place has steel supports on each side to support another structure such as the train station above it. Eitherway it will be a fun unique ride I'm sure. Lets just start thinking ahead to 2010.

This thread is really funny. It's like "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" where Walt is like Nurse Ratched and the person who started it is like McMurphy.

The details that they got "right" aren't indicative of anything (we aren't the only ones looking at construction pictures, you know), and the details that are as-yet unknown could have been guessed just as easily by one of us.

The bottom line MONEY. What is the quickest way to get lots of hits on a website? I brought up the Sept 7 date thing since that info was posted and later taken down. Me, I don't know how web advertising works, I know I read about this site not making much money. But I also see computer people getting rich just by having a ton (millions) of hits on a daily blog.

While I don't believe any adult would try to hurt a business relationship with Cedar Fair, but you can see what a rumor can do.
