Breakers/HNR1K experiences?

My wife and I decided we'd ship the kids to grandma's and play in the park this weekend without 'em. At the time, booking a king room sounded like a good idea; good price, lake view, close by.

With the forecast of possible rain, I'm beginning to suspect that the room will be more than a place to sleep, and that we'll want more, well, room. Anyone been in one of these rooms yet? Is it a bed closely surrounded by four walls, or is there a bit more space?

Gee, if I were spending a weekend without the kids, it wouldn't matter if the bed took up most of the hotel room. ;)

Those rooms have a bit more space, they aren't as compact as you're thinking. Stop by the desk and say hi, I'll be back this weekend! It's been tooo long (3 weeks!) :)

Brian....my wife and i will be in the exact same type of room this weekend.....we always stay there in the summer....not a bad sized room.....i wanna say the same size as a 2 queen bed room.....not as cramped though.....you will be comfortable....i dont like to be cramped either....so i think you will be fine

if ya see a guy wearing a Tennessee Titans jersey and a blue TTD hat.....its probably me :)

If you really want to have fun, stay in one of the Horizon Suites, they come with a King Size bed, a balcony with a 4 person table, 2 couches, 2 tv's, kitchen area with fridge and sink, and a large whirlpool tub with mirrors on two sides. (For looking at yourself in the tub!);)
