Nope. Gotta go out to the lobby. Or, Donut Time in the park.
To being an "us" for once - instead of a "them"
This is just a question that I am asking because I simply do not know the answer to it.
Why would you need internet access while at Cedar Point, or any amusement park? Isn't the object of "going on vacation" (for some) to get away from all of that?
We were in Canada, Niagara Falls, Kings Island, etc, for about a week and both my husband and I had our phones off. It was wonderful!!!!! We mainly had them off in Canada because our long distance doesn't cover out of the country, but when we turned them back on, I realized I had a low battery. I just kept it off.
Probably the best, most uninterrrupted vacation we've ever had!!!!
I have friends around Sandusky who I talk to on the net. It is useful for finding directions to restaurants around town while there, and telephone numbers to points of interest.

Exactly what ive been saying why bring a laptop to CP,i dont understand this generation,i thought going to an amusement park was to get away from it all, just my opinion.
A laptop, or a cell phone, or a crackberry, or what have you, is just a tool - nothing more or less. I don't understand those who define themselves BY that tool as much as I dont understand those that define themselves by the LACK of it.
Being proud of not availing yourself of a convenience seems a bit, well, superior and arrogant. As does waving it around like some sign that you are important.
Perhaps the OP wants to take the family to CP but can't fully manage the time off. Perhaps they are just a bit of a geek like me. Perhaps they just LIKE being connected. Perhaps their circumstances require them to be. I carry my phone everywhere because since my mom died, I'm uncomfortable when my dad can't get hold of me when he needs to. I'm back from my CP trip this past weekend, and didnt take the laptop - and didnt miss it. But only because I had my Motorola Q with me!
If the hotel has dial up internet......I can use bluetooth on my phone to dial a internet connection and wirelessly do it all. I am not coming to cedar point to play video games, or surf the internet aimlessly. While I try and plan my trip as well as possible. Google map's / google earth = life saver.
I will never be without my phone, and my laptop on vacation.
I have no joke on the last trip pulled off the side of the road in a off interstate town and found a wi-fi spot. Got on google maps and found an alternate route. Construction gone mad....yes a GPS would rule.

I don't think I'm in the generation you're referring to (being almost 50) but I have business needs (my business, not for an employer) that in this day and age pretty much require that I be reachable by phone or e-mail just about every day.
Yes, on vacation from my full time job I'm away from that job but for my business (it's just me doing some free-lance type work), if I'm not reachable, I'm taking some pretty serious risks. Most of it is being reachable for a problem - most days, no one needs to reach me but I do need to check and make sure.
Concierge floor- 10th has high speed wifi. There is also a desktop in the lounge with a live connection.

I know hotel breakers is big but it is a very low cost upgrade to allow people wireless access. Covering 20,000 square feet isn't hard, or unheard of.
The internet connection could be a single T1 even because the actual traffic usage will be next to nothing from vacation guests.
Maybe a few people playing multiplayer games at night, some e-mail, web browsing.
In fairness their reservation system online isn't the fastest which doesn't show much.
