Breakers Express Question

Does Breakers Express have a place to get breakfast? I know that there is McD's across the street (not my first choice), but I haven't been able to determine if any sort of breakfast food is available at Breakers Express.

Donuts and coffee at a stand. Maybe a few other things. I'd just as soon go into Donut Time in the park as eat there---the coffee is better.

When we stayed at BE, we drove over to the Radisson and ate at their buffet breakfast. Kids were free, making it a pretty good deal. However, with the retheme of the hotel, the prices might change---substantially.

Thanks for the info!

I'm not a big breakfast eater, but I need something to get me started (and I don't drink coffee). Maybe I'll just bring a cooler with some milk and some of those single serve cereal boxes. Or there are always donuts :).

There is a new donut shop in the park that you won't want to miss. It opens early.

Did you even read what Brian posted?
No, now why would I bother to do that?

I wouldn't call it inexpensive, but if you want to get to the park early and pull around to the Soak City lot, you can eat at the Friday's in Breakers for an all-you-can-eat buffet. I think it's like $10, but I assure you that you won't leave hungry.

When does that open?
I believe the buffet in Breakers opens at 7:30 am and I was actually pleased with the food, service, AND price. I think it was a buck or 2 less the the Friday's buffet. It's located right off the main lobby.

Do you get that buffet free if you stay at the Breakers? Or do you get a piece of toast and orange-juice and have to buy the buffet seperate?

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

The Breakers buffet can get overrun when the hotel is near occupancy. We were there for a Halloweekend last year (not *that* weekend, thankfully) and waited 15-20 minutes to be seated. The Breakwater Cafe buffet is much less crowded, less expensive, and serves boysenberry syrup to boot. Kids aren't free (as they were at the Radisson) but if you are a Joe Cool member, you also get 25% off this season.

A good deal.

Breakwater also has the emptiest bar on the point in mid-afternoons, with friendly service and downright reasonable prices. But, that hasn't been breakfast for me since I was in college.

Edit: you pay for the buffets, registered guest or not.

I miss the Boathouse already. I liked being able to get a bagel and a fresh fruit platter for ~$5. I just don't get my money's worth out of most breakfast buffets.

I had hoped to stay at Breakers instead of BE, but with less than two weeks notice for the trip, Breakers was sold out for Sat night (although Sunday night had rooms). I'm hoping for light crowds Sunday the 15th :)

I wondered what all of the boaters do for breakfast now that the Boathouse is gone.
