Breakers Express

I have some questions about the Breakers Express, I'm going on July 12th and 13th, is the hotel within walking distance of the park, cause my mom and dad are leaving for the hotel early and me and my friend are staying till closing or is there a shuttle? What kind of stuff is their to do at the hotel? How much do the tickets cost if I buy them at the hotel, like for a one day and ride and slide the next? Can you request rooms with a view of the park or Lake Erie? and finally what is the adress of the hotel?

Breakers Express is not within walking distance, unless you are a long distance walker! I mean, it's possible, but probably not very safe because of all the traffic on the causeway, and it would be a long, long walk.

I know they have a swimming pool.

I believe hotel guests can buy a ride and slide 2 day for only $54--I think the gate price is $59.

.

I have stayed at Breakers Express and you CAN NOT walk to the park from there. It, however, is a very nice place to stay and has an excellent pool. Discount tickets are also provided at the front desk.

You can't walk to the park. There are no pedestrians allowed on the causeway. They do provide shuttle's to the marina gate , check with the front desk for departure times. For information on discounts, and hotel details click below.

Unless something has changed from last year, There is not shuttle to the park. Check with CP to confirm that shuttle.

Don't even try to walk as when I was there the CP police were watching to make sure that there was no walkers on the causeway. Plus there is no side walk on the causeway and you would be inches from the cars.

As for views, the windows to the rooms do not look towards CP so you are out of luck there. Breakers Express looks out towards some body of water not sure if is Lake Erie.

Breakers Express is a great place to stay.

I don't disagree with you on that one. Just after I posted that I thought "is there a shuttle from B.E.?" I remember this topic coming up last summer now. I find it hard to believe that they don't run a shuttle from there, but I guess they figure that they may as well squeeze as much money as possible out of you by making you pay to park. I would still double check, but until proven otherwise I stand corrected.

I think there should be a shuttle, I don't see why not. Maybe Cedar Point decided to make you pay for parking to get that little bit of extra money out of you, but I don't mind paying for the parking fee.

What I suggest doing is buying a package through the hotel. You can get cheaper park tickets or get them for free (or so they say) through the packages.

Breakers Express has 350 rooms, and during much of the season it's booked 100%. Conservatively we'll average 3 guests per room. A large bus holds 60 people. You do the math.

Your parents can still go back to the hotel early. If they keep the parking stub, they can come back into the park to pick you up at closing without having to pay a parking fee. It's only a 3 minute drive down the causeway.
