Breakers Express

Caution. Check in early as possible. They are still working out the bugs with the new employees.

At 7:00pm, we left the park for dinner and to go to the Breakers Express to get our rooms. We had gauranteed reservations. We planned on cleaning up and closing out the park. After paying for our room, we had to wait 45 minutes to get our room keys because they hadn't cleaned our rooms yet.

Not a big deal but quite an inconvience.

That is a matter of not having enough employees at the beginning of the season. Always a problem for the resort. End of the season generally isn't much better.
I had a great experience yesterday at Breakers Express. They even let us check into our room at 3 p.m. instead of 4 p.m. yesterday because the trip didn't take as long as we expected. (then again you DID say, check in as early as possible...hehe)
I was going to go today, but the weather looked really bad. How was the park?
We went to the park last night for Starlight and left at 7 because half the rides were shut down due to weather and it started to rain at 7:10 or so. We were supposed to goto the park all day today, but we just came home because the weather looked exactly the same as yesterday but even colder. We didn't mind the rain, but the wind was horrible, and I knew the rides wouldn't be enjoyable even if they were up and running. (the ones that were up and running were hardly enjoyable yesterday)
We've checked in early, or have had times when a room wasn't ready yet, but checked in anyway. You don't have to wait for your keys, you can come back for them.
