Breakers Express ?

My family is planning on coming to Cedar Point for the first time and I have a few Questions about Breakers Express.

1. How far is it from the Park and how do you get from the hotel to the park?

2. I hear that you can get into the park early if you stay at Breakers Express. How does that work?

1. It's at the other end of the causeway; I would guess about 3 miles (someone here may have a more accurate measurement). You have to drive to the park, there is no shuttle.

2. They'll give you a card you take to the gate for early entry. I've only been to the resort and Soak City entrances, but I would guess they have a special gate at the main entrance for resort guests.

The people working the entrances make you show some sort of proof that you stayed there. Room card, bill, something along those lines.

No shuttle Chaindog? Is this only during a certain time of the season because I have stayed there before and got the shutle.
