Boundaries for the GP

I'm from Toledo and I plan to head over to Battery Park next weekend.

I'm just a little confused about where else I'm allowed to take my digital camera (as a member of the general public). Am I allowed to drive down perimeter road? Also people talk of getting pictures near the Blue Streak. Where are they taking these from, the part of perimeter rd. that goes through the parking lot?

Sorry if my questions have obvious answers. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

The way I see it, as long as you're on public property (i.e. not trespassing), you're OK. Battery Park and Shoreline Park are the two best places for this.

The best way to get Millenium Force pics (if you are not an employee) is to go eat at the Bay Harbour Inn. It is just yards from the lift hill!
You can also drive down Cedar Point Dr. to the parking gates to get some good pics. I also went to the parking gates on the causeway side to get even closer.

Coester, I know the causeway but where is CP drive?

To everyone else, I'm guessing that perimeter rd. is considered private property???
Cedar Point Drive is the Chaussee. It runs from US-6 just West of the Rye Beach Rd. exit from OH-2, all the way down Cedar Point to the parking lot. Past the most expensive homes in Sandusky, actually. What I have noticed about that road is that if you drive from the mainland to the park on that road, you literally cannot see the park *at all* until you get almost all the way down to the parking lot. --Dave Althoff, Jr.
