Books on Cedar Point?

I was at the bookstore today and I did not see any books or travel guides on Cedar Point. Although I like this website, it's hard to put it in your suitcase when you visit.

What are some good titles of books (if they exist)?

Ok a few GTTP members already know(since they are subscribed to the newsletter on my site) but since we are all "family" I will just spill the beans now...

For the last 5 months I been hard a work on writing a guidebook to Cedar Point. Well after several months of writing and editing I finished the book 3 weeks ago. The book is being published as we speak. If everything goes as planned, I will get a copy of the book to look over any day now and then will sign off on the book. Then it will be for sale. ASAP the book will be available for purchase off my website. Later this fall(it takes several months for the book to appear in bookstores databases) the book will be available for purchase at most online bookstores and most major bookstores.

Title: The Unofficial Guidebook to Cedar Point (If any one has any other good titles let me know ASAP)

Here is a run down of the book:
120 pages long
A review of every restaurant, ride, hotel(Cedar Point owned)
Several different strategy
Over 30 trivia questions
History
Plus much more

The price will be around 11 bucks(I don't have control over the price). I am shooting for the book to come out in mid-August.

Me, too! Let us know when you sing off on it and I will beging to pressure my local Barnes & Nobles to buy it!!

I bought David Bennett's "Roller Coaster" book off B&N's bargain rack last year because it had Mantis on the cover. (Anyone know the book that I am referring to?) Well, I've been wondering if it'll be updated this year. There was a LOT of stuff in the one I have... TONS of pictures! There is a two page spread picture of Mean Streak and one of Maggie that are almost frame worthy... if you can just get by that seam mark down the middle!

LOL!

Like I said, Andrew, I'll by a copy ASAP!!

Yes MillenniumLady, I know the book you are referring to. Has a lot of great photos, especially of Cedar Point coasters. My favorite coaster book, however, is "The American Roller Coaster" by Scott Rutherford. While it doesn't have as many CP pics, it does have some historic ones, like Blue Streak back when it had dark blue paint and even Jumbo Jet, and it is FULL of great coaster information.

Andrew I can't wait for your book... I'll be sure to buy one from your site as soon as you have them available.

Andrew -

Just a thought, but why not title the book "Experience the Point" since you already own the domain? You could subtitle it "The Unofficial Guide to Cedar Point". You would then use the website to promote and update the book.

Does anyone know when or if David/Diane Francis will be publishing a revised edition of CPQAWP?

If you're going to sell books on my site you had better send me a commission check first.
