Our webmaster, Jeff, has annouced a fall event sponsered by Pointbuzz and Coasterbuzz at CP during his latest Podcast. Sat., Oct. 21 is the date. He gave a little information about the event, but there's ERT on MF and TTD.
He got me interested, I've never been to a event, but this could very well be my first.

It's a Coasterbuzz Club event, but he said it was co-sponsored by Pointbuzz. The information he gave didn't sound final, so that's most likely the reason he hasn't said much yet.

I'll be there as long as it's not October 20th, 21st, or 22nd. I'll be in Virginia at ACE Day at Kings Dominion that Weekend.
I hope to make it. I was unable to attend BeastBuzz this year because of another event conflict.

Most CoasterBuzz events include a discount for members, and a slightly higher price (in the past, around $5 extra) for non-members. For events with very limited space, he also sometimes has a pre-registration period for members only. But, as long as you are on the ball about signing up, non-members should be able to attend. As soon as he has the details, he'll post a flyer here and on CBuzz.
If you've been to other events, CBuzz events work a bit differently---and, personally, I like them better. Rather than have a handful of rides open for an hour, the entire group starts at one ride, rides a few times, then moves on to another. While there are still plenty of rides for everyone, CBuzz events are a bit less about riding and a bit more about socializing. They're really a lot of fun!
I hope newbies are welcome. I've been a member of ACE and GOCC for the last five years or so, but I've never gotten to an event. This sounds like fun.

Count me in! I'm really looking forward to meeting some fellow PointBuzzers.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
If it doesn't require a premium membership, I'm totally there. No credit card = no membership for me :(

Yeah, same situation for me. I can't use my ATM card as a debit until after next April (stupid 18 rule ;) ). I'm always looking forward to meeting the people I'm talking to online. It was great finally meeting Walt over at Skyhawk while waiting for it to officially open.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

Just something with your bank I'm guessing...?

Yeah, it sucks. I can't do anything that requires some type of credit card ID like an iTunes account (it won't accept my old account for some reason that I had set up through that AOL option and now I can't find where you set that up) or coaster club memberships. I can't even use it at stores, so if I want anything I have to have cash, and I hate carrying around more than $30. So Jeff, please don't make it a premium members thing for those of us that, due to legal reasons with banks, etc., can't set up a premium account or get a CBuzz membership. *** Edited 7/3/2006 2:13:21 AM UTC by BlueStreak64***
