BooBuzz

Does anyone know if they there will be a BooBuzz this year?

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it.

Piss on it and walk away.

Per Jeff's post yesterday at 10:36am on Coasterbuzz, "There are no plans at the moment."

GOCC, ACE & Coaster Crew will be having an event on September 29th at Cedar Point with an optional Add-on at Cedar Point on Friday and an optional Add-on at Memphis Kiddie Park on Sunday. There will be a Non-members rate for other clubs. The flyer isn't out yet, but should be soon.

Last year boobuzz ERT on mf was open to anyone with a platinum pass. If you wanted the meal, that was separate, but we skipped that and just enjoyed a couple hours on MF as a bonus.

^ You needed to be a member of a coaster club as well.

We went on MF twice, then headed over to TTD for the first ride in the front seat, with hopes of a rollback that didn't happen.

Oh yeah! I rode that train with you... can't remember if I had front seat or you did, I think it was you and a GF. We talked by the TTD entrance for a while about that rollback. We got screwed on that one.

They weren't checking for coaster club cards when I came through the gate around 3pm I think it was. I had one, but they never asked. Just needed a platinum pass, and she didn't even scan it.

So there won't be BooBuzz, but keep Friday the 13th open in September.

What's going to be on Friday the 13th?

We are there that weekend anyway, but do we need to plan to get there a little earlier on Friday than usual?

Presumably its a "details to follow" type thing in large part because the details are still being worked out.

Yeah I get that, but if it's one of those things that's going to start at 3PM or something, it would be great to know in advance, to get time off work, that's all.

^ I thought you usually pull in at the campground at noon or whenever they open anyways. :)

We always try to get into the Breakers as early as we can, its usually 2pm that they open the doors.

Campground opens at 1PM, but you can get in line before that to get your desired site.

And of course I'll already be there, I'm self employed and go when I want, but my wife still works for the man, and we have to coordinate this stuff in advance!

Do the optional Add-on's include ERT? Or are those just days where you can get discounted admission for non-pass holders?

Friday will have ERT, Memphis will be a "come as you please" and ride/putt as much as you want. No cutting in front of the 5 year olds please. :)

Also, Memphis could be done on it's own with out CP if you have small kids and don't want to take them to CP. However, Friday can not be done without signing up for Saturday.
