bonus weekends

what exactally are bonus weekends? everyone here speeks highly of them. can any average joe come, or do you have to be in a group, club, or be a season passholder? forgive me if i sound stupid

Definately not a stupid question, punk. Bonus weekends get their name mostly from employee benefits, because that is when you really add on to your contract pay bonus. But it is a bonus for guests too, because ticket prices are reduced because the park hours are shorter and not all the rides/stands are open, and a lot of the entertainment is gone. Most all the coasters will be running, so that isn't a problem. Anyone can come, so have a great time! *Grin*

uh oh when are the "bonus weekends"? Im going August 20th through the 25th and is the price of admission cheeper?

Bonus weekends start with the weekend of September 8, 9, 10 and park admission is $28. For the most part, the park is open 5-midnight on Friday at Noon-8pm on Saturday and Sunday.

what sort of rides aren't running? I'm contemplating taking the family down there in September.

i've already been to a bonus weekend and i didnt even know it........halloweekends last season. raptor, mantis, magnum, and powertower were hour waits. every other ride was a walk-on.
