Blue Train, end of last night of the season

I was curious about why the back half of the blue train was running empty towards the end of the night.  I'm curious because when we rode the blue train earlier we heard a weird noise( we were sitting in the middle) that we had never heard before.....

There was a "guest illness" (i.e. someone puked) in car 6 or 7 (can't remember), and we have to run it empty in and behind the seat a few times after cleaning it.  No mechanical problems, the weird noise was in your head. :oP

Someone puked, probably right in a car (I think car 6). Even if you clean it up there is still probably chunks of things in the car so the last thing you would want is to be sitting behind that car while going 93 MPH.  :). As for the noise, where on the course did it take place?

After a few cycles people were allowed back in. Lap 333 and my final ride of the season was in Blue 82 right. That seat is special to me now because that was were my first ride ever was and it sounds like a football play! I got last full train of the season because I wanted Millie to perform at her best with the full train plus I did not feel like fighting over last train. She ran great and at the top over every hill I floated and was soon yanked over. :)

*Edit, somone got to it before me!*

Thanks for the answer.  Ride of Steel, I do have some interesting noises in my head.... lol....  Joe E. the noise was after the final turn as we were rolling into the unload station, kind of a bang followed by a pop....I know that I've never heard it before....and congrats Joe, that's a whole lot of laps!
Thanks for the props :).

If the sound was there it could have been the "lift" dogs ( I dunno what exactly they are called on MF). The wood planks on the track in the stations are to lift theses up and away from the kicker wheels and despite this they usually make some kind of noise that you described. TO me it sounds like a KER PLOP.

I noticed closing night (heck I have a picture even :)) that the middle flat wood piece located in between the kicker  wheels just outside of unload was at a slight angle. This could have made the noise slightly louder than normal

If this was the noise you heard, it is hardly noticeable and most of the time because it is drained out from all the post ride hype. It could have just been the first time you noticed it because I know the last thing I'm thinking after I just got done riding is some little noise coming form the bottom of the train. :).

Next time you are there, check it out and listen for it as you are waiting. Unfortunately that wont be for another 6 months at least :(.

Watch out, the Space Pirates pinch.

I can verify the...ahem...protein spill situation as I was waiting for Seat 91 when all the sudden the train was unloaded in the load station and Car #7 was washed out with a bucket. I still don't completely understand why I ended up moving down to Seat 51 as a result, but an indirect result was that I got to take a longer-than-usual ride up the lift... :)

When the train is moving slow, those safety dogs are NOISY!

You can thank me for that one RideMan. I was the one in controls sunday when we had the 2nd guest illness. When it was cleaned up we only loaded the first half of the train. Since it was not full it takes longer to get threw the breaks at the end. I forgot to wait and i sent the train from the staion to early, before the train stopped in the waiting area and we blocked stop at the top for a second.
