I took a ride yesterday on Blue Streak, and the trains looked like they were in brand-new condition! Were they refurbished over the winter? The paint was nice and bright, the lap bars looked new, and the warning about "keeping all hands and legs inside the car at all times" was on a plaque on the car rather than on the back of the seat head... Does anybody know anything about this?

They are pretty much brand new trains. I know they got new chassis. I'm not sure what if anything was used.

Gotta love the PTC referbs. They did an amazing job on Kennywood's Racer a few years ago.
I can't wait to try out Mean Streak June 7, 8, and 9.
I'll be Coasting for Kids on June 9th

At least some if not all of the body panels are used, but you have to look close to see any evidence of it. I went back to the park this past Friday and took another lap. One train definitely looks better than the other. The second train looks like it may not have been painted.
I didn't even know turtles had thumbs :)
