Blood Pressure

I have high blood pressure which is controlled through medication, however; I was wondering if high blood pressure while riding this ride is a major risk factor or not. The reason I ask this is because I have heard that jet pilots who have low blood pressure are at more risk than pilots who have high blood pressure. I have heard that they actually look for pilots with higher blood pressure than low ones because on decents your pressure drops. Is this true? Should I worry? I REALLY REALLY want to ride TTD, but I am a little nervous about whether or not my BP would have an effect on me. I have ridden MF MANY times and have not had any problems on that ride. ANY help on this topic would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you!

I doubt that altitudes of less than a couple thousand feet will affect your blood pressure to any significance. Search me, but I can't imagine that everyone working in skyscrapers has perfect blood pressure. And they are two or three times taller than TTD. I wouldn't worry. Most of the warnings are nothing more than nice, thick "pants" that CP wears, if you catch my drift.

I agree that you need to talk to your doctor, we're not health experts here.
