I was in Sandusky today for the "A Day at Old Cedar Point" presentation at the Merry Go Round Museum. I drove to CP as well as Battery Park to see the park and the newest addition to the skyline.
I was amazed at how big WT truly is. I don't think looking on the web cams truly gives you any idea of the true height of this thing. From Battery Park, I could see that the spikes were much further apart than I expected, which means the horizontal track is longer than I imagined it would be.
You can't truly get a feel for how big WT is without seeing it in person. If you get the chance, I highly suggest a trip to Battery Park, the view is amazing.
Edit: Bring a pair of binoculars if you want a really close up view.

I was amazed at the size of Millennium Force's tunnels. HUGE. Pictures just never seem to do justice. WT is pretty amazing.

Actually, I am hoping to see the towers disappear, temporarily that is. I am guessing the towers will be replaced. Otherwise, my life is in the hands of two towers placed under stress identical to that which cracked one.

Raptor_Rider,
If you're thinking of the brake like on the back tower of SUE at SFWoA I don't believe there is going to be one because of the back spike being twisty. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
