But, I think you need a CP employee ID to get into Louies. Some places you might enjoy: Dailey's and Cabana Joes in downtown Sandusky. Nick's Road House, about 15 - 20 min. west in Port Clinton. Old Dutch, on Perkins Ave. I believe, if you like cheap shot and beer joints. Same thing with the Fireside Lounge on Rt. 250. BW3, near the Sandusky Mall. The Bacci Club, in the Comfort Inn on Rt. 250 at the Rt. 2 interchange, if you like dance clubs. Also, the TGIFs in Hotel Breakers. Not a lot of "action" in that bar, but a nice place to unwind and have a few drinks.

Florida may have Disney World and Key West,
but Ohio has Cedar Point and Put-In-Bay.

Oops, just read your post again. On the Point, definitely TGIFriday's in the Hotel Breakers. Right on the beach, get a Long Island Iced Tea and kick back. Other places, Bay Harbor Inn, fine dining with a small, usually mellow, lounge (boater types from the Marina). Same thing with the Boat House. Breakwater Café, by the Sandcastle Hotel, also has a small bar.

In the park, you have the Last Chance Saloon and the Palace Theater in Frontier Town. And, my favorite, especially when they have Karaoke, the ever popular Red Garter Saloon.

And don't forget the adult swim-up bar, Bubbles, in Soak City. It's a great spot to relax!

No CP ID needed to get into Louie's.

Really? Did that change this year? For many years they checked for a CP employee ID at the door.

Trust me a CP id is needed. I worked at the park 2 years but went back as a guest this year and I had to have an employee get me in. We found some friends from last year to get us in and the doorman quizzed our friends about our personal information including our first and last names, where we were from, and our ages.

Yeah we just went into Louie's a few days ago. They have a sign up saying Private Club. Membership Required... it is kinda nice price wise from what I saw, though. If you have a person to get you in they are $1 for ppl over 21 and $2 for ppl under (that's cover) but they have shots they bring around that are a dollar (I think), they have the normal beer thing, and a pretty full bar.
