Walt: I understand where you're coming from! I hate trying to pass a truck in the left lane and some jerk behind me is right on my tail! I usually speed up (75-80) to pass the semi, but it's not good enough for the guy behind me! I hate driving next to semi's, so it's a little nerve racking trying to pass one and having someone on my tail.

I use the Jeff system, sort of. I keep my speed to just under 5 mph over the actual limit I try to stay in the right lane, and use the left lane to pass only.
69... the speed of love.
The problem in Ohio is that old folks don't get that the left lane is for passing. Hell, neither do some teenagers.

What time does the water show start?
I don't dare do more than 3-5 over most of the time in Ohio - those cops can't wait to write cars with blue plates large speeding tickets.
And Walt, thats one of my biggest pet peeves.. I usually just ignore the person, though. Sometimes I'll slow down and just barely go faster than the car I'm passing - usually gets me a dirty look or a 'Beverly Hills Hello'
I'm a pretty fast driver, usually going 10-15 MPH over. What I usually do is wait for other cars who are going that fast or faster. Once they pass me, I cruise behind them about a half-mile or so behind them. I've yet to get a speeding ticket, but have seen plenty get pulled over in front of me!
