Best time to go?
We are thinking of a going up on July 2nd (Monday), but wasn't sure how busy it would be. Will it be busier because of the 4th of July holiday week, or will it be slower? I hate crowds and waiting in lines.

$1,400 for us and two kids. I don't think so! $100/person, then yea I'd do it in a heartbeat, but, then so would everyone else.
I mostly just wondering how busy it will be during a holiday week.

It's July, kids are out of school, people are taking vacations. The park will be busy, there will be lines.
If you don't like crowds or waiting in line, then maybe Cedar Point in July isn't the thing to do.
Maverick will most likely be at least an hour. Worth the wait though.
No one can predict what the crowds will be on any given day. (See the FAQ). So just go and enjoy the park and the time you're spending with the family.
