I can make it from 4.5 - 5.5 hours depending on traffic.
Please post if you have a quicker route.

Will Foamy become the next Strong Bad? I guess we will find out...
Caution: Foamy isn't quite as "PC" as Strong Bad.

Thats right Virginia, I am Santa Claus.
Going home to Fort Wayne from Purdue I'll take SR26-I69 sometimes. 26 is a 2 lane road but it's a whole lot less policed than 24. And 24 is so boring... Time wise, not too different I guess. I'd guess total drive would be about 5-5.5 hours. I've rarely made it to fort wayne in less than 2.5, and it's nearly exactly 3 from ft wayne to sandusky.

And the real problem spot on the entire route is 24 from 496 to Defiance, two lanes, winding and , lots of trucks, along the Maumee, only God knows, why when it could have just as easlily have gone cross country on flat fields a quarter mile south. This is why when i go home to Michigan i go two exits farther and take Ind. 37 wich becomes good old Ohio 2, in Hicksville.

Is this called Lafayette Center Road or County Road 900 N? Is this the only stoplight in the city of Roanoke, so I will know when to turn, or are there more than one light?
Thanks, that looks like a good shortcut.
Once again, is this called Lafayette center road or CR 900 N? Is this the only stoplight in Roanoke, any help would be Awesome, Thanks. When you are driving for 5-6 hours a 10 minute break helps.
Gregdawg,
I lived in Lafayette, Indiana back in the early 70's. Somewhere around 1973 or '74 our house was hit by a tornado. It was the only house hit as it touched down right on our roof, tore it off, and placed in in the neighbor's yard...on top of their above ground pool.
Good times.
