Best Promo?
Now that the last 3 coaster's Promo Video's are out, (Thanks to Jeff) We can now decide which is the best one. They are all good. They all had given some mythical approach to the creating of the coaster. Keep in mind It is no fair to compare the animation between each other.
Raptor Was scary, Very scary.
Mantis had a good plot, which was scary but not as scary as Raptor
I would have to say MF wins. The ladies voice and music is just to spooky, and fits it perfect. When seeing it for the first time who here did not go WOW! THAT'S INSANE, and immediately start counting the days down. Where as the others used a story line, MF just said "here I am, rocking like a hurricane" And of course their were the one liners that stuck with you.

A 2 minute and 45 second journey through space and beyond
Falling towards earth at 80 degree's
You have just broken ten world records
And Last, but by far not the least

Yeah, I like MF's promo the best, but that's somewhat biast since I already rode Raptor and Mantis before seeing the promo video.
For me it would have to be MF too. Every time I watch it, at the end I always think, "I have to ride it, and ride it now!" That's a feeling that neither Mantis nor Raptor's gives me. Although all three are very good, MF has my vote.

It was that promo video for the Millennium Force that "forced" me to go back to Cedar Point for a second and third time this year just to ride it. I was too much of a rookie to ride it the first time and I regretted it until the day I went back. And now it's got me by the throat and I can't stop watching it and watching it and watching it....MF by far the best promo...

Does anyone remember if any of the other rides had promos. I seem to remember Disaster Transport having one, but maybe that was just a commercial.

I have many at home taped off of TV over the years..My favorite though of the oldies is Demon Drop!!..Kind of plays on a halloween/hell theme for the drop!! Also have Meanstreaks' and Powertowers'...

Yes, Magnum is sinking! I remember the commercials for most of the new rides, but I don't know if they had the full length promo's.
I still like the second-year Magnum spot, with the kid on the sliding board.....

HA HA Rideman. I remember that to. The kid just sat there going nowhere on his sled with that look on his face that said "Sledding is still no replacement for Cedar Point" He then tired to make it go by whipping the reins. Good Stuff. I hope I am thinking of the same one.
