Best Place to Stay?

No tents huh? I thought I saw a tent in a picture from one of those promotional mags a while back. Well, whatever. It probably wouldn't be the best idea anyway. These thoughts come to be because I'm just cheap :)
this might be a bit off topic guys but I have to fly in for coastermania(I would get lost if I drove, way too far for me) so anyway anyone know if breakers has a shuttle that goes to hopkins airport or if anyone knows that has an airline that flys to sandusky let me know. Thanks in advance.
There's no commercial service to Sandusky, so you'll need to get to either Cleveland or Toledo. I'm not aware of any shuttle service. You'll probably have to rent a car at the airport.

I'd never stay anywhere other than on-site. Our family has a pseudo-reunion at the Point each year near the end of June and the Breakers are a welcome respite in the middle of the day. I would guess that I make an average of two trips per day back to the hotel for whatever reason. The location makes it well worth the price.

You might consider flying into Hopkins at Cleveland, and taking a flight to Griffing Airport in Sandusky. Griffing makes runs to Cleveland all the time. I'll bet you could get a shuttle from the Breakers to Griffing. It's only about 3 miles from the park entrance on Cleveland Road (US Route 6).

I guess I'll ask again...
Is the Comfort Inn near CP's gates any good?
I'll answer that, Bill. I've stayed there and found it old, beat up and over priced. Some of the local places are far better.
Local places, as in?
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and it was so-so at best. Maybe the actual Holiday Inn...
I'm staying at the Radisson on May 16,17 for $71 and booked the Rodeway on Milan June 1,2 for Coastermania at $52 and $58, as the cheapest I could get the Radisson for was $125. How is the Rodeway?
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Holidome one year and got a visit in the middle of the night from a woman who asked my father if he needed any "service"
