Which coaster (not ride) has the best lighting at night? On this one I have to go with MF. What do you guys think?
I thought of this question while sitting watching the amazing lighting of the coasters from my deck on Sunday night.

Florida may have Disneyworld and Key West,
but Ohio has Cedar Point and Put-In-Bay.
It's great to live in Ohio!

On a side note: Why aren't the coasters at SFWOA lit? I guess that's just another small aspect that makes CP the best and WoA...well...not

Power Tower also has some cool looking lights.

This is Walt's (Gemini) site and is the only night one I know of.

When I was there last month, I was taking pictures of the CP skyline from downtown Sandusky at 1:30 in the morning! With some low clowds that were lit from the lights and a light breeze from the lake, I could stay there all night (it looked very cool). Too bad my camera didn't meter right (I had some over-exposed spots)
I wouldn't want their power bill. Especally with the wattages of those lamps. But it is very pretty to look at. I think it is worth it.

I beleive the lighting in the park turns off in periodic instances. Different areas and rides lights turn off at different times.

I had my first trip to a non-CP park this spring which was SFWOA, and we stayed all night. Walking back toward the park from the fireworks the skyline where the roller coasters was all dark. Couldnt see anything but the Ferris Wheel. Anyways, me and my other half were wondering that too, why they dont light them. It would make them so much better. I personally feel you shouldnt even build a ride without lights. Im a light person hehe. ANyways. That and many other factors tought me my lesson on being a Cedar Point traitor. I wont go anywhere else again.

"Millennium Force, the Future is riding on it."
Now, Cedar Point is "Bulding for the future."
Coincidence?

best lights on a ride: PT
Millenium Force has lights in the loading station the entire time it is open as well! These lights just accent the wonderful ride. Great lights for an even greater rollercoaster.
