Best Decision Kinzel Ever Made

And Maverick.

Why is everyone hating on Kinzel he has given you guys a world class park. Maybe everyone should go to other parks year in and year out and maybe then you will realize exactly what you have and that is the best park. If someone else was in charge then you probably would not have half the stuff you guys do. This is coming from someone where the nearest park is 2 hours away and they have 3 very bland coasters so quit complaining and realize how good you have it.

I couldn't have said it better myself. If someone else had run the company we might have a closed down Six Flags Ohio instead of the amazing park we have today.

Six Flags Ohio did close down.

...and Kinzel did close it, hehe. I don't think Kinzel's legacy will be as negative as the feedback he gets right now. He has just been around for too long, he should have retired almost 10 years ago and given someone else a chance. It is rare for someone to be CEO of a company like CF for as long as he has.

The last 10 years have been a train wreck, between buying GL, overpaying for Paramount Parks, bleeding talent from said parks, resisting technology, and above all, trying to sell the company. The nepotism and handling of Falfas rank up there as huge failures as well.

I want to give him some credit, and suggest that his management style simply didn't scale when the company ballooned, but a good manager knows when to step aside and give that job to someone else. He did the opposite, he stayed on when he intended to retire.

My annoyance comes not just from my affection for the company, it comes from selling my units at a low price, when I needed the money.
