Best Day To Go In June

I don't know if this is the right place to start this, but when is the best time to go in June.

Also, what time should I get there to get a spot to the front of the line on one of the larger rides, Raptor, MF, or Maverick.

Any tips on when to get a short wait for lunch, probably for Midway Market.

Or, any other tips that would make my day at the Point better.

The best way is to stay at Lighthouse Point. That way, you can enjoy the rides when you want to.

I would guess the best time to go in June would be the beginning of the month during a week day because school is not out yet. Ever since 04 I have gone at the end of June and the crowds were not that bad, the longest wait was TTD, a hour wait in 05. Last year MF was never more then 40 min. wait all day. I am planning on going the last week of June this year too and do not expect the crowds to be to bad.

As for getting in to the park early, I would also guess, get to the gate just before they open like maybe 8:50 if it opens at 9:00 if your staying at one of CP's resorts or are a JCC member. Getting in to the park at 9:00 this year should give you a hour of ERT.

RIDE ON, and ON and ON and ON and ON and ON...

I agree.

I will not be able to stay overnight, and do not have a Joe Cool Membership. I am going with my family. So when should I get to the park to do the running of the bulls thing, or is there a better way to get to rides fast.

Forgot to mention, I am in school too, so early June won't work.

Last year, I went on the 21st, I think, and the lines were'nt bad at all. The longest wait was 45 minutes for Raptor.

What CP03 said. Really, June overall is a great month to go, as the really large crowds are not yet there.

As far as lunch, we seem to have different tastes. We usually fill up on beer and gourmet pretzels throughout the day, and maybe a cup of white chili at the Game Day Grille.

But, might I make a suggestion? Frontier Town will be a great place to be next year, and I have had "many a meal" at the "Chuck Wagon Inn"

They even serve your food on "authentic" silver platters! Yeee-ha!

If I could, I would just grab snacks here and there, but I am going with my grandparents, so they insist that we sit down to eat. Last year we ate at Macaroni's, but it was during the lunch rush, so we waited a while.

Any tips to get an early ride on the big ones without early entry?

Well your grandparents will love to sink their dentures into the roasted chicken at the Chuckwagon :)

I would run to Mav. and then Skyhawk. If you havent read it here yet, the back of the park is quite slow the first hour or so of entry. The great thing is, MF and TTD lines will be significantly shortened by Maverick's arrival.

Here's my personal "wait" cutoffs (when to skip it and move on) for all larger rides.

MF: no more than 30 minutes

TTD: no more than 45 minutes

Wicked Twister: No wait at all

Raptor: 45 minutes (the line moves quick!)

Mantis: 45 minutes (worst line in the park by far)

Gemini: 5 minutes

Maggie: No line (but watch out for a stacked station)

Skyhawk: (no line from 10:00 - 11:00 am)

Maverick: the great unknown

Thank you. I will work my way from the back forward, unlike I usually do.

Last year I went on a Wednesday in June and the lines were

Raptor:45min

Wicked Twister: maybe 10min for back row

MaXair:30min due to vomit:)

Iron Dragon:don't ask why, walk on

Mantis:30-45min

MF:30 min

SkyHawk:20min

Gemini:5-10 for front row blue

TTD:40min

Raptor 2nd time:20min to stairs then ride closed for a storm

I missed out on Magnum, which I probably could have made it on to, but my grandparents really wanted to leave.

So, what time should we arrive at the park with no early admission to get to the back quickly.

You're new so you don't know, but these topics aren't really allowed. I'll post this link before another person does.
