Best day to go during busiest months

I know there have been other posts about this, but there has been mixed responses (and I know thats because the park occupancy is unpredictable..).. But I am going with a friend at the end of July/beginning of August. I'm wondering which would be better to go during, or does it not matter? Is Sunday still the best day to go even though it is the busiest months or should we shoot for a tues./weds.?

Thanks.

I read somewhere in Amusement Today that the best days to go would be on Holidays (like Memorial Day). Because most people would spend there time at home and NOT at an amusement park. So the lines would be shorter.

I wouldn't say that is entirely accurate. Try going to Cedar Point on July 4 and then tell me it isn't crowded.

Getting back on topic, I have always found Sundays to best days to go during peak season, Saturdays being the worst.

well of course its going to be crowded on the 4th of July because of the fireworks but knight was talking about labor day and memorial day. Get to the Point, I'm going back to the Point after a long absence of 9 years on the 27th & 28th (tuesday-wednessday) and am hoping for smaller than usual crowds. I also heard that Sundays tend to become busy during July so I would stick with Tuesday and Wednessday. I hope that both of our trips go well and I hope that TTD and MF aren't down.
I went last year on the last Saturday before halloweekends, man was that a mistake. TTD was a four hour wait, Millennium Force was hrs wait, even Magnum was extremely long. So, this year I'm going on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the end of this month.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

NEVER GO SATURDAY UNLESS THERE IS A CHANCE OF RAIN!....and even then don't go if you don't have to. (Yes I did mean to shout)

Sunday is always the best day to go, but in the less busy months (for lack of a better term) it really doesn't matter what day, just not Saturdays.

This time of year is bad everyday whether a weekend or a weekday. I was there last Wednesday and it seemed worse than a Saturday. There are so many factors that go into the crowds at Cedar Point that it's impossible to predict. This time of year, it's best to just assume that it will be crowded.
In my opinion, i think Sundays are bad days to go during the slow season in May,June, and September. It seems like a lot of students with season passes hit the park up on Sunday. But during the busy moments I noticed that Sundays are pretty good. And I would guess if you go on a weekday, any day will be a hit or miss when it comes to crowd size. I went last Wednesday and the lines sucked. I waited 30 minutes for GEMINI! Also, I think that since TTD was down, that caused a lot off ppl to make the other lines bigger. Anyways, I'm going again this coming Wednesday, can't wait!!

I want to ride a rollercaster NAKED!!

I always like to go on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Saturdays scare me. I think that the crowds are easier to predict during May and June as opposed to July and August, though.

Coaster Count: 147

Every year I get to Cedar Point from Chicago at around 4 p.m. on Sundays. In that 5-6 hours I always ride every coaster. (Ussually it takes a full day, but a close one at that to ride every coaster.) That is just my experience- but, the last 2 years MF has been a walk-on. And I beleive that is good enough proof to me.
