Ballroom for rent

I'm sure this has been brought up before but wouldn't it be pretty amazing if you could rent out the ballroom for weddings? Much like Disney fanatics, I think it would be so unique to have a wedding at Cedar Point, and have your guests/bridal party enjoy their day at the park and have a reception in the ballroom. What great pics that would make for your wedding day as well. :)

If it could be done I'm sure it would be a very expensive option. May not be practiacal but some of us have been to Cedar Point on our wedding days. My husband and I got old time photos taken and rode Gemini while we were waiting for them to develop. We got some major applause when we returned to the station. I wish I had pictures of that.

You can. Anyone that wants to pay can rent the Ballroom for an event.

There's no AC up there, though, so it'll be a hot one.

Just out of curiosity (or maybe for future plans ;) ) is there anything saying that you CAN'T get married at Cedar Point? I mean, as long everyone pays admission into the park.
I've always thought the gazebo in the back by the antique cars would be perfect spot for a wedding with your closest family and friends, especially for a family of enthusiasts like mine.
There was also that one contest, even though it was cancelled, to get married at the park. But, can't you pretty much already do that? Or is there some rule that can stop you from getting married there?

Money will buy you almost anything. I have actually seen a couple get married in that gazebo so the park will let you get married on property.

I think Tony has mentioned in the past that they have done weddings at CP in the past and they are trying to work out details of wedding packages.
