Instead of wearing a fanny pack, my wife wants to bring a string back pack this year. She mainly rides the smaller rides, and I was wondering what to do with the back pack while riding.
I have a list of smaller rides, that I was wondering what you do with your backpack when you ride. Can anyone let me know, please. Obviously I don't want to pay for a locker if I don't have too.
1. Disaster Transport
2. Calypso
3. Cedar Downs
4. Matterhorn
5. Scrambler
6. Super Himalaya
7. Troika
8. Windseeker (does anyone know if there will be bins like Max Air?)
9. Witches Wheel
10. Antique Cars, Cadilac Cars
11. Sky Ride
12. Space Spiral
13. Tilt A Whirl
-- And the two rollercoasters, she may try this year--
14. Wildcat
15. Iron Dragon
Thanks for any information.
GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.
1. disaster transport. Riders exit in a different place than they enter so you cannot store your items. they will allow you to ride with your backback.
2.-7. There are no bins that I know of on these rides. you can ride with your backback. or you can stow it away near the ride entrance. I usualy stick stuff behind a bush or outta sight somewhere. the chances of someone messing with your stuff is low.
8. windseeker - I do not know what they are gonna have in place.
9 and 10. you can ride with it or stow it somewhere.
11. You have to ride with backpack because it is only a one way trip.
12, 13 and 14.again you can ride with it or store it somewhere nearby.
15. iron dragon does have bins if I am remembering correctly. or you can ride with it.
As far as the lockers go they are in several locations troughout the park. I think they are still a dollar. You can only open them once. I hope this helped.
2008 visits = 38, 2009 = 19, 2010 = 11, 2011 = 14, 2012 = 10, 2013 = 14, 2014 = 14, 2015= 13, 2016 = 11, 2017 = 5, 2018 = 3
Thanks Mikeybo2004, I really can't picture bins on Iron Dragon, but that's great if they have them.
I didn't think about sky ride, only going one-way. That makes sense now. I knew you couldn't take strollers on sky ride. I have even seen them not let people take balls and stuffed animals on sky ride, but wasn't sure about a back pack.
