This is to serve as a heads-up to guests and employees both...
If you walk across the Famous Dave's parking lot for whatever reason, be it to go to the marina shop, to go to Famous Dave's, or to walk from Cedars to the time clock to punch in, be warned: There are baby seagulls in between the rows of parking blocks. You'll know when you see them; they're almost all grayish-brown in color with small white spots. If you go anywhere close to them, you will get dive-bombed by the parents. Twice today I had to make that journey and the second time, I felt the feet scrape across my hair. I had to duck down or else it might've been a hit.
Not to be confused with Twisted Wicker 08 from 2002
Because they are ***.
The black birds with the red and yellow/tan wing markings. They are very protective of their young and any one/thing that comes near them, they will dive bomb, beak first.
There was one over by Red Garter for a while that nailed Jen in the back of the head really hard one day. Luckily she had her hair up, or she probably would have been bleeding.

I got nailed in the back of the neck by one of the killer blackbirds. I was miniature golfing and apparently there was a nest somewhere nearby. I made my shot and waited for my friend to putt. He was ready to take his shot when I got pecked in the back of my neck. He started laughing at me calling me Fabio. :)

That looks nasty. It probably really hurt when it hit.

New Season of 'The Office'. TONIGHT!!!
About a month ago I remember a protective set of birds dive bombing people at the exit of Mean Streak. Their nest was at the top of the turn around of the ramp. My fiancee and I were laughing because those were some pi**ed off birds and they attacked the girl in front of us at least 4 times before we got off the ramp. Not sure if they're still there or not as I've only ridden MS at night since then and haven't seen 'em.
