Avalanche Run

I was reading about how the roller coaster Avalanche Run was turned into Disaster Transport. Does anyone have any good pictures or stories about Avalanche Run? Anyone every worked at that coaster? Any stories about how they decided to develop Disaster Transport?

PS: I already saw the two photos in the "history" gallery on this site.

There comes a time in every man's life where he has to break down and marry a roller coaster -- please let 2003 be that time.

Nothing big but if you ever get a chance to go in to DT electrical room, you can see the original floor, beams, and roof from Avalanche Runs station. The numbers indacating where to stand on the platform are still there.

I think there are some in the history section of virtualmidway.com too. I know I've come accross quite a few of them.
