August Trip 2018
Hi there,
we are from Germany and currently planning a trip from August, 4th, until 25th, 2018.
We like to visit The Point, Kings Island and Kings Dominion, maybe Dollywood, at least 3 days for each park.
Is it safe to say that Cedar Point will be open daily during that time frame or do they close the last two weeks in August?
We might move Kings Island and Kings Dominion to the beginning of our journey as they usually are on weekends only operation in late August, right?
Do you guys know when the parks post their schedules?
We are also interested in staying at Breakers so we are hoping the park comes up with 2018 rates soon. Any guesses about when the next year's rates come out?

Last 2 weeks in August at CP are golden. I believe KD is open those weeks as well. KI is not. Only the weekend.

I believe 2017 was the first year in a long time that Kings Dominion was closed during the last week of August.
As we are leaving well before that last week starts, I hope we are good.
Didn't notice that KD closed early this year. I went there during those weeks 2 and 3 years ago. That's a drag.
Guess that pencils Cedar Point in for end of August and Kings Dominion for late June next summer. Was thinking about doing it the other way around as the August slot allows for more travel time.
