August 3rd and 4th. wish me luck at cedar point!

hey everyone. i've been reading here for a while but this is my first post. i'm driving from long island, ny on august 2nd to hit the point on the 3rd and 4th. it's only my second time there. the last time i was there was about 1997. I'm real excited, and hoping everything goes well. I'm so excited to ride millenium force. I've been wanting to ride that ever since it first opened. Dragster is another one i'm looking forward to although i've been on kingda at sfgadv. anywaay, i'm pretty excited. anyone got any advice for me? any at all would be appreciated, well. ttyl.

Have fun I guess, which is impossible not to do at the point. Anyway, is your name for Straylight Run, as in the band? If it is I just went to their concert not long ago, and they were pretty good.

unfortunately i couldnt afford to stay at a hotel in cedar point . so, i'm staying at a holiday inn on milan road about 4 or 5 miles away.

You will have an awesome time I'm sure. Make use of the freeway stamp for the bigger rides---you shouldn't need it for Magnum, as this year we've never had to wait longer than where the freeway queue enters. But we do try to go during the week, like you are. It has been HOT--so keep hydrated (that's the mom in me!). Have fun and good luck!

Dude make sure you ride MF in the front row, its worth any line, just do it after you've been on it once. Also the back of the park is empty on the weekdays and Mean Streak and Gemini have no lines. Also if you are there on the weekdays go on rides in the front of the park after 4:00pm as that area empty's out then. And save your 2 hand stamps for MF and Dragster as they are always the longest rides.

The "cheap" hotels at Sandusky blow, you can get really nice hotels in Toledo for good rates.

Ride n' Slide tickets are the best for 2 day trips, you get tickets for CP for 2 days, for about $65.
