Hey. Im planning once again to make the trip to Cedar Point to take pictures of Project 07, and ride some coasters. I'll be wearing my Pointbuzz.com Shirt again. Feel free to join me, or just stop and say Hi. I usually take pictures after 2-3pm for a good 1-2 hours. You can spot me around the Project Area, and on the Train (Although probably not so much this time because the not much is goin on around that part of the Project Area). I should be holding a SLR camera with a camera bag, and Im pretty tall. So if you see a weird looking tall guy w/ a camera, its me haha.

I'm going on Thursday. I'll be wearing my Waldameer tee shirt, if anybody's going. I expect it will be the only one in the park, so if you see one... that's me.
I can't believe it's 10 1/2 hours later and I get to post back-to-back. ;)
BGRooDoG, have a great time tomorrow!

They both get quite a few comments. But CP Employees get a kick out of the Point Buzz one :)

I said Hi... The pointbuzz.com t-shirt made me laugh even though I've seen it a thousand times... ;) I was taking pictures at the same time you were... They did end up opening up that area behind the carousel house right before close and I got back there to take some good pictures...
Anyways good to see some fellow pointbuzzers... :) *** Edited 8/31/2006 6:24:08 AM UTC by Aaron_toledo***
BGRooDog, I ended up going yesterday too. I was up around the construction zone from about 4:00 to 4:30, and for a while again after 5:00, after riding Mean Streak. Didn't see you, but there were a surprising number of people floating around.
Yesterday was a banner day for me. I finally got to meet Dick Kinzel! He was near the front of the park, about 10:45 in the morning. I recognized his face from the Discovery Channel 'World's Largest Amusement Park' video. I almost ran in to him, in fact. He was very gracious and personable, although we only talked for about two minutes. I asked him, point-blank (pun intended), what it was going to be. He smiled and spread out his hands, saying, "You'll just have to wait until Monday. Or is Tuesday?" I think he just had the dates wrong in his head, don't read too much into that. Then he said that he had just watched the video the day before, and that it was great. Not really sure what video he was talking about, maybe the commercial?
I wrote a whole lengthy trip report last night, but when I hit the Submit Topic button, it said my log-in had expired. What gives?
