august 27-31

i am going to be up there the last week of august. What kind of crowds can i expect, and is anyone else going to be up there?

I am getting the feeling that the last week in August is going to have quite a crowd.

i wont be really worrying about crowds with 5 days and a season pass. I will wait in line for maverick however long i have to.

Then why did you ask if you're not worried about it?

i didnt really think about it that way. i am just thinking that the park would be busier due to last minute family vacations and maverick being introduced this year.

It won't be busier than it would normally be, but with Michigan not going back until after Labor Day (started last year) and I think Ohio is planning on implementing that this year, it will be busier than it traditionally is.

As Jugga said, if Ohio goes through with the new school schedule, the park will be much busier the last week of August than before. I'm not sure it will be too bad this year, but its hard to tell.

im hoping not because i love my yearly vacations to cp and i would hate to have to miss out on rides.

I even noticed last year was pretty busy at the end of August. Now with Ohio kids out of school, it should be just like any other summer day.

im kinda hoping all the hype with maverick kinda slows down that week so do dont have to wait in a 5 hour line. granted im gonna wait anyway but it would be nice.
