Well its time for our annual week long journey to the Po!nt. Anyone else gonna be there? I know the first day my wife and I will be sporting white #97 Michigan Football jerseys. Looks like its gonna be warm, better than last year when it was down right cold for august. We were there for a week last year and i was in the park for only 2 of those days, down sick in the room with strep throat, boy was i pissed. I even had a hand stamp for a 10-11 night ride slot on TTD but i just couldn't do it, i felt that bad.

Only time we rush is for the first ride of the morning, the rest of the time we just take our time and enjoy everything the park has to offer. This is our first year with Soak City included on our passes so that should be fun. Alot of people think we are crazy for staying this long, but we have a great time. Its what we like to do. Ride what you want, when you want, dont have to stress about rushing around and riding all the big rides because you leave at the end of the day. Go and enjoy the beach!

I would love to stay as long as you do. But money becomes an issue.

101 on Magnum and counting...

I will be there August 10-14, staying at Breakers. I'll have to look for your dark blue backwards Dragster cap just like last year when I ran into you in the Breaker's hallway. I'll be spending my first morning at Geauga Lake since I was able to pick up World's of Fun/Ocean's of Fun season pass while I was down in Kansas City back in June. Then I will be enjoying Cedarpoint and Soak City that night and the following 3 days.

P.S.
I have a feeling that batman, spider man, sponge bob square pants, and a giant scream will be running around the hotel pulling shenanigans this year...

We usually make it a 3 day affair and stay on Point. After 3 days, I've had all the fun that I can handle...:)

We used to do the 3 day thing, but it just didn't seem like enough, it blew by too fast.

Yeah Race4thesky420 i remember running into you also, but im not sure on the Dragster hat, the elastic is kinda stretched out on it. I'll probably be wearing a black hat backwards with "Tacks Hog Wash" on the front of it. Whats batman spider man and spongebob shenanigans all about???

Well I've been going the last week the park is open till 11PM for the past 6 years and every year I see like 4 or 5 guys in their lower to mid 20's running around the hotel in some goofy costumes. Everyone gets a real kick out of them, so if I was a betting man I'd say they'll be there this year so keep your eyes out for them.

I will be there on the 8th, then back again the 30 & 31. I don;t plan ahead to far as to what I will be wearing, so good luck figuring out who I am. I usually wear some Red Wings, Central Michigan University, or Saginaw Spirit shirt when I am there. As long as I am there, I am happy!! See you there!

I'll be there on the 10th, with a blue "Born to Ride" CP shirt. Hope to see you there.

Wow Cedar Dan, you go a lot! Feel free to stop by and pick me up on the way, I live right near Huron Line ;).

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Yeah... I guess I'm pretty lucky. :) I'm going with my uncle again (I went Jul. 28-29, just didn't feel like posting a TR...), only for a day this time.

Which part of Huron Line, Vince? ;)

I am in the township too!! Center/Weiss area to be exact. Wish CP was a little closer then the 3 1/2 hours away. Hope to beat the Flint construction traffic Monday!!

That construction is terrible. At least when I had to "go through it" on Thursday, I was going to Clarkson, so I could take 475 to go around most of it. The stuff up towards Birch Run wasn't so bad, but I've heard it can be terrible sometimes.

It would be nice if they were working on different parts of the road, but it seems like the same stretch of road keeps getting made over year after year.

My fiance and I will up for a visit to CP the 14th - 17 of this month and also staying at Breakers. It's been 4 years since our last stay so we're really looking forward to it.

CedarDan, if I had to line my house up with something on Huron Line, I would say I'm pretty close to South Windsor Arena I guess. I live in the Dougall and Cabana area.
