Assigned Seating?

Is there assigned seating on TTD like there was on MF? Do the ride ops let in a train load of people into the station at once and you pick your seat and the last person in gets the last seat available? Or can you wait for any seat you want?

When I rode in the morning they were using the same procedure that is currently in place for MF...one trainload full of people is let into each half of the station and you can pick any empty row. You could also wait for the front or back seat if you wanted to.

Later that day when I rode again we were told which row number to go to...most similar to on Power Tower I suppose.

I got on at about 11, and they specifically directed me to the back seat, although there was another 2 people in front of me and my friend. So they did assign seating, but not just one train full at a time. Maybe this was to make the line feel like it was actually moving because with half of the trains running, it was pretty slow.
