As a platinum passholder, can you share early ride time with Bring-a-friend

Title speaks for itself. I've gone over 20 times over the past 3 years but have never had this situation. Can my regular cousin get in for early entry if he comes with me, a platinum passholder?

Sorry for asking what would be something obvious for most of you, but I really need to know for tomorrow.

I called the admissions department a few weeks ago and they said the person does get in with you; had no problems with such when I tried it last week. The bring a friend ticket wouldn't make sense otherwise since it says pretty clearly when you buy it that the passholder has to accompany the other person.
