Art Class Help

In art class I have to make a timeline or have 6 pictures related to each other. I wanted to do it on a CP ride. I wanted the first picture to be an old ride that will be taken down. Then the next picture to have the area cleared. 3rd - Footers
4th - Supports
5th - Track
Last - scenery/running trains

Good or Bad?

Which coaster could and should I use from CP?

Maverick perhaps? I wanna RIDE ON.

The easiest to do would be maverick with all the pics floating around.

You could always put pictures of the last 6 coasters installed at the Point! :)

Just an idea, contact the park and see if they can give you some pictures for your project that you can use. CP usually do things for local students, I think it wouldn't hurt to try and give them a call.

LOl. We just started the same project today. To bad it has to be local. (I live in Lima. 1 1/2 hours away from CP) :(

Let's Get Weird.

Do you have to do something with these pictures? Re-draw them? Take them yourself? Assemble them in some creative way?

Taking six photos from the internet doesn't seem very "art class" to me.

The idea has merit though, if you're going to either take the pictures or do something with them.

Do they have to be of certain things? Personally, I would do a build timeline with HUGE gaps. What is started out as, cleared land, footers, supports, track, operation. But like i said, thats me. and can you use more than 6?

"Ive got the need, the need for speed!"

I forget if we can use more than six. I'm not copying, just redrwaing basically, free hand, not tracing.

I would say do either Maverick or Dragster. They both have a plethora of construction pics. I've done similar things in art class. Except they were just single pieces on canvas (acrylic). I drew this picture (http://coasterimage.com/pictures/cedarpoint/topthrilldragster32.html) one night and painted it at school. It turned out really well and got first place at our schools art fair.

And ZERO talent what-so-ever. ;)

Yeah, I'm going to go out to the art store, grab some acrylic and a canvas, paint it and then post it JUST for you guys.
