I was reading a book for a report in school and I read that there was a huss Arrow Corporation and it built the first sucessful suspended coaster big bad wolf in 1984. I Didnt know huss and arrow were together. What year did they split? Magnum Xl 200 was built in 89 Did they split up before then because I only rembember seeing Arrow as the disigner?
Yeah new year, and finally got my license, well back in august. Im in need of a trip to the park.
Here is a website that has the history of both companies. No where do I see any mention of them being together at any time.

Arrow got started in 1947 as a machine shop and fabrication company, built some carousels (including the one that was at the now-defunct Hillcrest Park) and built a bunch of rides for the Walt Disney Company. That went on for a while, and ultimeately Arrow Development sold to Rio Grande Industries. There was a brief time, approximately 1981-1986, when it was Arrow-Huss, and that company went bankrupt. The principals of the company organized an internal buyout and created Arrow Dynamics circa 1986. So Mine Ride, Corkscrew and Gemini are all Arrow Development rides, White Water Landing is an Arrow-Huss ride, and Iron Dragon, Magnum XL-200, and Snake River Falls are all Arrow Dynamics rides. Arrow Dynamics got into trouble and was ultimately bought out by its own Middle Eastern division, then went bankrupt again after they finished the Olympic torch project and finally got bought by the company down the road, S&S Power.
Oh, and it looks like at least indirectly they may now be installing a new ride from S&S/Arrow. :)
