Arms Down, Head Back, and Hold On?

I mean sure its possible to get hurt on a coaster. I mean hitting your hand on a support is possible. I'm saying that Cedar Point would NOT put in a ride that could tear someone'd rotator cup, by the simple act of putting your hands up. I mean i dont believe if it was that easy to get hurt that badly they would have the ride.
Almost every accident I've heard of at CP isn't on that site. It's a site.. it's not the bible of theme parks. I love the fact that some of the entries don't even list where they happened and seem like someone just sent in an email .. "My husband has a headache after riding".

Almost all of the incidents that happen at CP are handled on point by the very capable EMT staff. They don't make the news so they don't end up on a site like that.

Look at the list of accidents on that site. Almost every one of them was in the news. Alot more happens at parks than is listed on that site.

As for the guy in 2000 and the support on MF.. yeah... no comment...

Yes it is possible to get hurt on any ride at anytime, and the majority of the accidents are caused by someone who is not following the rules. You can refer to coasterbuzz.com and see the articles submitted by many enthusiastes basically telling everyone that if they don't stop breaking the rules, we will lose privledges like ERT and Coastermania.

You claim to have first have knowledge of incidents, yet the only proof that you have is the first hand knowledge of seeing these incidents, but have no proof other than your spoken word. It sounds like the total reasoning for your posts is to just cause an arguement.

Most accidents on coasters are when people try to hit the supports, try wiggle out of the restrants, or go where they're not susposed to be (ex. fenced in areas). Arms Down basically says don't reach out and hit something and be an idiot; head back, your head will hurt if you don't because you're going to hit your head no matter what you do; hold on is just a way to make people believe this is one hell of a ride and it's going to be wild so hold on!! That's what I think of this.

If you don't want to risk your job, why would you bother saying anything at all?

Furthermore, you already have brought up specific incidents which would put your job in jeopardy, and if you are just making up stories for the sake of arguement, than you are lying about your employer. Not too smart.

It's probably safe to say that just about all accidents are caused by ignorance or just plain refusal to follow rules and regulations. Speedzone and Browntggrr, I think you both need to stop acting like two babies and stop arguing about something that isn't worth arguing about. We don't know what you "SAW" and you'll never be able to prove it to us. Why incite flame wars when you don't have to?

First, let it die. Almost 2 days passed without any posts, then you come in with an opinion that mirrored my first post.

And about "flame wars". This never happened. Just because we disagree on something does not constitute the tag "flame wars".

(Edited: "threads" for "posts". Thanks to DragstrRACE for his insightful knowledge on the subject.)

"Thread" refers to the entire topic of discussion while "post" refers to your own individual contribution to the "thread". Thanks. (p.s. - when you disagree on something and whine like a baby, as you did, it can be considered a flame war.) Trust me, I ran a server forum with over 600 people once...I know a flame war when I see one.
