Hey.....Any of you that live up in the CP area seen or heard of any recent Ariel Views? Like a local news station's chopper cam or something? Maybe someone up there should write the News Stations and suggest it? I mean it couldn't hurt....From the sounds of things people are saying all the news stations coverage of the New Ride has been lame....Tell'em to spice it up alittle....

That last pic tells a lot about the current height of the ride. It is obviously taken from the top of the Gemini lift (125 ft). You are eye level with about the middle of the 3rd section of track (b/c you can see the top of the 2nd level of supports and the bottom of the 3rd level. Therefore, each level is 50 ft (125/2.5). That would put the current height around 260 or 270 ft.

I think theres a site called satellite imagery that will get you up to date photos for a cost.

I don't know which I'm concerned with more: the fact that someone took on-ride pics at CP (not saying it's bad, it's just against the rules), or the fact that they put their name on it. That's a quick way to get on the park's bad side.

Check It - Bob Majoras said, "that LAST picture" and he was right that it was taken from Geminii. The FIRST pic that was posted by Pagoona was taken from Mean Streak.

Just for the record.
