Traditionally, the lawns and benches between the Turnpike Cars and the Good Time Theater have been a popular place for people to crash in the mid afternoon...

They have new lawn chairs at the Breakers Beach with umbrella's attached that you might like. Also, after a over indulgence in the Lucy nausea producing spinning ride in Camp Snoopy one year, I found 20 minutes at the covered benches there the only thing that kept me from losing my dignity & my lunch. :)

There is a small grassy area between the train station and the Millie que area that I have seen people napping in before. Right next to the concrete slab where the giant wheel used to be. In the past this area has not been fenced off from the midway but I don't know if that is still the case.
On a side note - I find it funny that Google Maps marks the CPLE stations with the same symbols they use to mark the METRA stations in Chicago.

I highly doubt any of those people are spending their whole day napping on a bench. Probably more than a few have spent the whole morning and afternoon waiting in lines, and simply need a recharge before hitting the queues again. Consider it a poor man's Breakers.
