Ok, well... not really. But after several days of trying to get on to Terraserver.com to check out those pictures of Area 51 that was all over the news, I looked up this location

I never noticed how far out Magnum goes, And there is that nice big space in between Gemini and MS, that would be a nice spot for a coaster.

Thats cool!! But look at the date. For most of the pics its 1997. But for others its 1995. Not the bad but a more current picture would be nice.

That is cool thanks for the link! I have done that same type imagaing down to my neighborhood! The only thing is I wish that was more recent pics, those are taken in 1997! Hope they update that soon, would like to see the overview of MF!

It's up now? A few months ago I went to terraserver and tried to get the CP pictures but that area of the globe wasn't up then!

I'm guessing that these survey photos were shot in 1997. As you can see, Mantis is there, but Power Tower, Camp Snoopy, and MF is not.
If you go to the main terraserver page, and enter in a location, It'll give you all the listings, with a date the photos were taken.
Still, it's a cool vantage point! You can download it for free to disk (they only charge on downloading the photos of the "real" Area 51. I'm going to have my one photographer friend make a nice print of it (i.e., zoom it in perfectly, and enhance the lighting) When I get it done, I'll let you know by posting it on my website.

Half of it is from '97 and the other half is from '95. You can see Mantis but no Raptor. How bizarre would that be?

I was just going to say, I can see Raptor. I used to go to Terra Server all of the time, but it always had incomplete data. At least they have what counts!
Even with the new rides, these overhead photos say what I've been saying for ages: CEDAR POINT DOES NOT HAVE A SPACE PROBLEM!
