Are they repainting?

Looks like he is going to repaint the train car by Maverick.

I saw the same thing. I also noticed a few days ago that they installed some lights to shine on it as well. Should look nice when it's done.

I like how CP keeps adding new things to the Maverick site, when I was there I didn't even notice or see the tram.

It has been there since the park opened this season...

Yeah I know it has, I just have never seen it.

By the way is the mist/fog back on in the tunnel?

Yeah, when I was there July 10 (knowing about the train car), I didn't notice it at all. I also didn't notice any mist/fog in the tunnel.

They've been adding some more theming in and around the ride area and queue. The mist/fog has yet to make another comeback, but I'm staying hopeful. The train car is now red.

Of course there's much more themeing scattered around than what took pics of. You have to see them for yourself.....they really are a nice touch, as is the newly red caboose.

The themeing reminds me of driving through older parts of West Virginia and seeing scattered car parts...only in the case of Maverick its scattered wagon parts. ;)

(not putting down WV, I have family there)

Had a co worker that rode the Maverick on Saturday and I had asked if the mist/fog was operating in the tunnel and she said no. When I rode it back a few weeks ago it wasn't operating th that time either.
